The Adventures of DaisyThree Paws PublishingBook a Visit

Meet Daisy

A real dog with three legs, a big heart, and a job: helping kids feel good about what makes them different.

The accident

As a puppy, Daisy got lost, was hit by a car, and lost a leg. Karen, a social worker, and Russ, a doctor of physical therapy, adopted her.

Learning to swim

On day one she jumped in the pool and nearly drowned. Her dad taught her a new way to swim, one paddle at a time.
